The music score I received was missing a bunch of pages. I didn’t hear back from them until I mentioned a chargeback on my credit card. They promised to send the missing pages, but that never happened, and my emails went unanswered. So, I initiated the chargeback, and they called me, assuring an instant refund, but I still had to follow up with them again.

I purchased a guitar from this place, but due to circumstances beyond the company's control, I had to send it back just a few days later. Matt from the Guitars section was incredibly helpful, and he also assisted me in picking out the right guitar. Even though I ordered it online, I took it back to the shop, and they sorted out my refund on the spot! Truly fantastic service. I definitely know where I'm going for my next guitar purchase.

Like I do with all my reviews, I aim to be honest and fair about my experience, and I’m not getting paid for this.

For years, I’ve been on the hunt for a Les Paul style guitar, but my budget just won’t allow for even a used Gibson.

I had it narrowed down to the Epiphone Les Paul classic, Gretsch g5220, and the Michael Kelly Patriot decree, all priced around £400.

To my surprise, I found JG Windows selling the Michael Kelly Patriot decree for just £299, which is a solid £99-130 less than other places.

I reached out via email since it was during the Christmas holidays.

They let me know the guitar would be checked before it was sent out and offered some extra tips.

When the guitar showed up, it was double boxed, and I couldn’t be happier.

Because of the price, the communication, the service, and the fact that it’s a small local shop. I really believe in supporting local businesses.

Quick and effective swap for a faulty record. The staff were super friendly and really went above and beyond to get a replacement shipped out right away. I’ll surely be back for more.

I thought I had snagged a Squier P-Bass online, but a few days later, I got a call from JG Windows saying the bass was out of stock due to a damaged neck. When I inquired about the specifics, the response was a bit vague: "errr, I don't work in that department, but it's something to do with the levelling...". I mentioned I could handle the fret leveling myself, but they insisted the bass had already been "sent back to Fender". It became clear that the bass was never actually available, and instead of just admitting, "whoops, we forgot to take it off the site," they chose to mislead me. Maybe they figured I wouldn’t know about fret leveling since I was buying a Squier! Who knows?! Eventually, I got my refund and headed over to GAK in Brighton (where I should've gone in the first place!) and bought the same model without any hassle. P.S. I noticed another review down the page had a similar issue with a bass being out of stock—hmmm, curious. The bass vanished from the website pretty quickly after that.

I placed an order for an electric bass, and they had just one left in stock. Before I finalized my purchase, I reached out to their team, and I was thrilled to chat with them about the product and the shipping details.

Unfortunately, the item was defective, so it didn’t get shipped to me, but they provided clear explanations and spent a good amount of time on the phone helping me find a different option.

They generously offered plenty of advice that guided me in selecting a replacement, which I ultimately bought from another store due to some circumstances. The refund process was quick and hassle-free.

Next time I’m in the market for an instrument, I’ll definitely give them a shot first and reach out for their advice.

I ran into a little hiccup with my vinyl order, but I believe it was just a stroke of bad luck. They handled it quickly and with kindness. I’d totally recommend them and plan to shop here again. Awesome company!

Fantastic support from the team, super friendly people, and lightning-fast shipping (the quickest I’ve experienced for a guitar in all my years living in what’s considered a remote area) plus the product is outstanding. This company has made me feel like a kid, and the customer service rep was downright rude. They didn’t help me one bit. I really don’t like being talked down to, so please don’t do that again. I’m definitely not buying from them ever again. Just steer clear!!

About a week back, I placed an order for a pair of Wharfdale Linton speakers. They showed up pretty fast. This store offers that classic service vibe and was super helpful when I had a question. I ended up getting a better deal than those big retailers. The sound quality is fantastic, whether it's ACDC or Chopin. I really can't find anything to complain about with this business. Much appreciated!

I just picked up a guitar from jg windows today, and I gotta tell ya, the service from Nick was top-notch! He really went the extra mile to assist me and hooked me up with an awesome guitar at an even better price! I can't recommend them highly enough!!

Fantastic Customer Support! I was looking to get a digital piano for my partner's birthday, but I was a bit worried about the delivery timing. I called the shop, and they were incredibly nice and accommodating. To my surprise, the piano showed up in under a day! Plus, it was around £100 less than the prices I found elsewhere. I'm really pleased with both my buy and the service I received. :)

Dropped by today to grab an affordable electric guitar. I didn't shell out a lot for a used model, but the staff member was super helpful, answering all my queries, ensuring the guitar was in top condition before I left, and even hunted down a box for me to take it home. Definitely worth a shout-out!

I highly suggest for buying vinyl - I pre-ordered three records. Awesome service - two were available, so I went to grab them. The team has time to chat, and I ended up picking up a few more albums while I was there. Plus, the prices are pretty good too.
